All Angels is a British classical/pop group consisting of Melanie Nakhla, Charlotte Ritchie, Rachel Fabri, and Daisy Chute. Original member Laura Wright left the group in the summer of 2010 and was replaced by Fabri.

All Angels released their first album at the end of 2006, entering the U.K. charts at number nine. It was the U.K.’s fast selling debut for a semi-classical act and won them a platinum disc, besides being nominated fora Classical Brit Album of the Year award.

Later, they sang in front of the Queen at the Festival of Remembrance, made several television appearances, and released a cover of Robbie Williams’ song “Angels”, plus a revised version of their album with three bonus tracks. At the same time the four members continued studying (http://www.poprockbands.com)

All Angels – Windmills Of Your Mind

Round
Like a circle in a spiral / Like a wheel within a wheel
Never ending nor beginning / On an ever-spinning wheel

Like a snowball down a mountain / Or a carnival balloon
Like a carousel that’s turning / Running rings around the moon

Like a clock whose hands are sweeping / Past the minutes of its face
And the world is like an apple / Whirling silently in space

Like the circles that you find / In the windmills of your mind

Like a tunnel that you follow / To a tunnel of its own
Down a hollow to a cavern / Where the sun has never shone
Like a door that keeps revolving / And a half-forgotten dream
Or the ripples from the pebble / Someone tosses in a stream

Like a clock whose hands are sweeping / Past the minutes of its face
And the world is like an apple / Whirling silently in space

Like the circles that you find / In the windmills of your mind

Keys that jingle in your pocket / Words that jangle in your head
Why did summer go so quickly / Was it something that you said

Lovers walk along the shore / Leaving footprints in the sand
Is the sound of distant drumming / Just the fingers of your hand

Pictures hanging in a hallway / And the fragments of a song
Half-remembered names and faces / But to whom do they belong ?

When you knew that it was over / You were suddenly aware
That the autumn leaves were turning / To the color of her hair

All Angels – The Scientist

Come up to meet ya, tell you I’m sorry / You don’t know how lovely you are
I had to find you, tell you I need you / Tell you I set you apart
Tell me your secrets, and ask me your questions / Oh let’s go back to the start
Running in circles, coming in tails / Heads on a science apart

Nobody said it was easy / It’s such a shame for us to part
Nobody said that was easy / No one ever said it would be this hard
Oh take me back to the start

I was just guessing at numbers and figures / Pulling the puzzles apart.
Questions of science, science and progress / Don’t speak as loud as my heart.
Tell me you love me, and come back and haunt me, / Oh, when I rush to the start
Running in circles, chasing tails / coming back as we are.

Nobody said it was easy / It’s such a shame for us to part
Nobody said that was easy. / No one ever said it would be so hard
I’m going back to the start
